The aim of this laboratory session is to provide an introduction to ion chromatography. The focus will be on typical inorganic salts found in water. In addition, the session will investigate whether elevated concentrations are present due to contamination and assess these in the context of general limit values. A further aim is to improve students’ ability to write scientific reports. The experiment handout is available for download in the corresponding Moodle course.
