Chair of Chemical Safety and Fire Defense

Registration for research projects (with the exception of Bachelor’s and Master’s theses) at the Chair of Chemical Safety and Preventive Fire Protection takes place at the start of each semester via the Moodle course‘Academic Theses at the Chair of Chemical Safety and Preventive Fire Protection’ within the registration period announced on our website. For organisational reasons, registration for an academic thesis is compulsory. Unfortunately, it is not possible to complete the thesis without this registration.

Within the aforementioned course, you can specify which type of academic project you wish to undertake at our department.

  • Bachelor’s:
    • Academic thesis
  • Master’s:
    • Project and small-group work
    • Term paper

If you already have specific topic proposals, you may also specify these here. We will then assess the extent to which the proposed topic fits within the chair’s research and work areas and can be supervised by one of our staff members.

Once the registration deadline has passed, you will be informed which member of staff will supervise your project. The project usually runs until the end of the semester. In general, the guidelines for writing academic (course) papers at the Chair of Chemical Safety and Preventive Fire Protection apply .
